Following a violent assault by individuals whom he describes as nervis, activist Pape Abdoulaye Touré is currently being taken care of by the medical service of Section de Recherche.
A few hours after the attack, images circulated on social media, showing Pape Abdoulaye Touré handcuffed and injured in the face. These images have gone around the internet and aroused almost general indignation. After this attack, Pope Abdoulaye Touré was transferred to the radiology department before being admitted to the ophthalmology department of the SR. He encountered difficulties walking and seeing.
